"A unicycle is a rare sport."
- Kris Holm
Kris Holm (Chris Holm), a geologist who is not only interested in studying earth science, is doing geology, but it's important that he gives a lot of energy to mountain biking.
On the eve of his twelfth birthday, he saw a man in the centre of Victoria riding a unicycle and playing the violin. He realized that the birthday present he wanted was a unicycle. In this way, one of the world's most important unicycle athletes was born.
In the 1980s, Kris Holm was a brainless fan of mountain country unicycle. But when Kris Holm began to play the unicycle, the unicycle was just a novelty for children, circus clowns and jugglers, and there was no mountain unicycle. He could only buy a wheelbarrow in one store, but it was modified but still not up to his strength. Then, in 1998, he worked with a local mechanic to produce a mountain unicycle that was his own.
In 1998, he won the first sponsorship of noko's bicycle. A year later, he began selling a small section of his own name, Kris Holm Unicycles, through Unicycle.com, a unicycle online marketplace.
Kris Holm's unicycle is made in Taiwan's factories and distributed around the world. Kris Holm is now considered one of the world's top brands.
